This site is based on the premise that there are other gay and lesbian couples in the world (than my wife and I), who want to have a wedding and are not willing to wait for the US government to get on board with it to have one.

When my wife and I were planning our 2003 wedding, we were surprised to discover how difficult it was to find gay and lesbian wedding resources. We decided to try to take on that challenge, since it made planning our own wedding a much slower process. It has taken me over 2 years to get to the point where I can invest the time into trying to collect the web’s best best gay and lesbian wedding resources. Phew! Time flies.
